2016 Green Car of the Year
November 19, 2015 - The Chevrolet Volt 2016 is the winner of the 2016 Green Car of the Year® coveted program. The Volt is the first to win the award twice. The 2016 finalist models included the Audi A3 e-tron, Honda Civic, Hyundai Sonata, and Toyota Prius.

Toyota Mirai
Nov 20 2014 - Toyota announces the launch of the first mass market fuel cell vehicle in 2016, the Mirai. With a 5kg tank of liquid hydrogen, the vehicle autonomy should be of 300 miles. The vehicle is expected to be launched intially in California and the US Northeast.

November 20, 2014 - The BMW i3 was the winner of the 2015 Green Car of the Year® program. The annoucement was made at the Annual Award at the Los Angeles Auto Show® . The 2015 finalist models included the Audi A3 TDI, BMW i3, Chevrolet Impala Bi-Fuel, Honda Fit, and VW Golf. The Green Car of the Year® award, an honor widely recognized as the auto industry’s most important environmental accolade, celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. Past winners include the Honda Accord, Ford Fusion and the Chevrolet Volt.
